Setup Step 3: Clients Information
Manual Entry of Clients
To
enter clients manually, please click "Clients" on the left side of the screen, then click the "New" Button. Make sure to always click the "New" button to add a new client, entering another client on the same page will overwrite the existing information. All information in red is required. Once you have successfully saved the information at the top, the bottom section will unlock and allow you to enter the rest of the required information there. In the bottom section, only the "Client Person" section is optional. Some helpful tips about entering clients:
- The County field functions differently from other text fields. Please type in the state code first ("OK" for Oklahoma), then type in a few characters of the name of the county. A small drop down box will be displayed, and you must click the county. It will not accept fully typed submissions.
- If you choose Hispanic in the Race List, please also select White. OKHCA does not accept Hispanic as a race because they consider it an Ethnicity.
Clients information can also be imported from PICIS, from a spreadsheet, and maybe from your current vendor.
From PICIS
If you have an OKHCA contract and have been submitting client information to PICIS then all the information you have submitted can be imported into ChartCaddy. Please see the "PICIS Staff Login" section in Step 4 and then notify customer support that you would like your data imported.
From a Spreadsheet
First you need to
create a spreadsheet with specific headers and information. Then log into the system, go to Settings -> Import, select "Generic Client XLS" for the type, select the file, and click import.
From Other Vendors
Other vendors (such as Milan) may also support data dumps. There is a way to mass import client information from a spreadsheet, and for more information on that please contact support.
